1.  If you’re installing inside the window frame:

  • Width: Measure the inside of the window frame from left to right in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement.
  • Height: Measure the inside of the window frame from top to bottom in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement.
  • Depth required: You’ll also need to check the measurement from the window or window handles to the front of the window frame, to ensure there is enough room for the blind to operate freely. See table below.

Please note: We take deductions so the blind fits neatly inside the window frame.

2.  If you’re installing outside the window frame:

  • Width: Measure the exact width of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 50mm on each edge. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.
  • Height: Measure the exact height of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 50mm on each edge. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.
  • Note: The blind will be supplied at the exact sizes you provide.

Child Safety

Veneta cares about your family's safety!

Veneta understands the importance of selling child safe blind products but it is important for all our customers to recognise the potential danger presented by loose blind cords and how to install...
