What is a Reveal Fit

  • Reveal Fit: Mounting is done inside the reveal of the window frame. Most products will have a recommended depth, for your product to mount fully within the reveal or you can partial reveal fit, see specific product "control type" specifications section.
  • Please note: We take minor deductions for a reveal fit when it is manufactured, to ensure it operates correctly within the reveal. Please provide exact measurements of your reveal with no deductions.
  • Refer to the "drive control options" on the specific product page to see full specifications on the product in detail.
  • If recommended reveal depth is an issue, select the face fit option.

Measure Reveal Fit Width

  • Width: Measure the inside of the window frame from left to right in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement.

Measure Reveal Fit Height

  • Height: Measure the inside of the window frame from top to bottom in 3 different places and use the smallest measurement.

Measure Reveal Fit Depth

  • Depth required: You’ll also need to check the measurement from the window or window handles to the front of the window frame, to ensure there is enough room for the blind to operate freely.
  • Refer to the "drive control options" on the specific product page to see full specifications on the product in detail.
  • If recommended reveal depth is an issue, select the face fit option.

What is a Face Fit

  • Face Fit: Mounting is done on the outside of the window reveal, and is usually mounted on the window frame architrave. You can add more width to overlap your architrave, in line with the aesthetic look you wish to achieve.
  • Please note: The blind will be supplied at the exact sizes you provide, except Roller blinds where the fabric is supplied approx 32mm less in width (not including the brackets).

Measure Face Fit Width

  • Width: Measure the exact width of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 50mm on each edge. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.
  • Please note: The blind will be supplied at the exact sizes you provide, except Roller blinds where the fabric is supplied approx 32mm less in width (not including the brackets).

Measure Face Fit Height

  • Height: Measure the exact height of the area you would like the blind to cover. We recommend the blind overlaps the window by at least 50mm on each edge. If you have an architrave we recommend measuring from outside of architrave to outside of architrave.
