When you order curtains from us, you can choose to have the curtains lined. This means that an extra layer of fabric is placed behind the curtains. Lining a curtain has many advantages: It provides extra light blocking, insulation, and sound reduction properties. Curtains are divided into three different categories: sheer, semi, and blockout. A sheer curtain, also known as a voile curtain, a see-through fabric that is ideal if you want a little more day-time privacy while enjoying as much natural light as possible.
Semi curtains, ranging from light-filtering to dim out, have a thicker fabric and are semi transparent. While not see-through, they still lets some natural light through the fabric.
