Did you know? Up to 50% of your household heating and cooling energy can be lost through your windows. Adding a lining to your Roman blind will increase the level insulation and therefore provide more energy and noise efficiency. Lining can be either transparent or blockout. Utilising a blockout lining will turn your Roman blinds into blockout blinds. Please note the blockout has a room darkening effect which varies with certain conditions including fabric type, mounting method and does not necessarily make the room pitch black.

From receiving our "free" samples to the ordering of our Roman Shades, the process was extremely easy to follow. Shades arrived within the time frame quoted and very well packaged. They were easy to install and a perfect fit. We were extremely satisfied with follow up and customer service. Would highly recommend Veneta for supplying a budget conscious alternative to other custom made options.

I recently bought chain operated roman blinds with semi transparent lining from the Veneta blinds website for my house. They were so easy to measure and order online. The blinds fitted perfectly into the space and were very easy to install. They have given the house a very homely look. The fabric on the roller blinds is a very high quality and such good value.

I have recently purchased a house full of roman and roller blinds from your website. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of your products after an initial quote from a local blind shop which was almost double the price of yours!!
The romans are a beautiful quality and very well stitched - they sit perfectly. The black roller blinds block out the sun but allow you to see through and don't make the room too dark.
I was also very impressed with the packaging and they were simple to install.
A great quality product at a very reasonable price.

Points to note:
- Due to colour variations in different product batches, it is recommended to order blinds for the same room at the same time to ensure colour consistency and avoid dye lot variation. Over time fabrics may fade more in some areas than others dependent upon the position of the blind during the day.
- Fabrics that include cotton, silk or linen will experience a certain amount of wrinkling due to the lining and this is considered normal. We recommend a steamer to help remove wrinkling.
- Blockout has a room darkening effect which varies with certain conditions including fabric type, mounting method and does not necessarily make the room pitch black.
- Fabrics are limited by the maximum width at which they are manufactured, so some blinds will be supplied in Railroad format, meaning the material is turned on its side so as to prevent the need to join the fabric.
- Some imperfections may occur in woven products as a result of the natural weaving process and is considered normal.
- Although rarely ever an issue, the straightness of horizontal and vertical patterns is not guaranteed.
- Slight colour variations will occur between different monitors and screens and even printed brochures compared to the actual colour of the blind. If the accuracy of the colour is important to you, we recommend ordering a free colour sample to ensure you will be satisfied with your choice.
- To order a free colour sample simply move your mouse over the colour you like and click 'Order Free Sample'. Then 'Checkout' by clicking 'Cart' located at the top right of every page and your samples will be posted out the same day or next business day.

- 'Depth Required' is the clearance required from the front to the back of your window frame for uninterupted operation of the blind. Please also take into account any window handles or other obstructions that may interfere with the blind.

- For blinds installed on the inside of the window frame, please provide the inside window frame size. The factory will take the relevant deductions to ensure the blind fits nicely into your window frame.
- For blinds installed on the outside of the window frame, please provide the exact measurements you would like the blind to be manufactured to.
